Homemade Coffin

        After a few year our cardboard coffin finally gave out, and we decided that we needed a real coffin.  So after some research I found some plans for a home coffin. There are actually two versions of the plans, the original plans by Scott N. and a modification on Scott's plans from Devious Concoctions. After some deliberation and planning I decided to use a combination of both plans. This project is a little more involved then the others on our site and will take around a week to finish if you work all day, but I spent two and a half weeks working 2 or 3 hours each day.  I would like to thank both Scott and Devious Concoctions for there great plans (even though they are hard to follow) and I hope that this version is some what easer to follow.

• 1 - 3/4" Sheet of Plywood
• 1 - 3/8" Sheet of Plywood
• 3 - 8' of Base Board Molding
• 3 - 8' of Crown Molding
• 3 - 8' of 1" x 4" Pine Board
• 3 - 8' of 1" x 6" Pine Board
• 1 - 4' Piano Hinge

• 1 - Quart of 'Dark Walnut' Stain
• 1 - Quart of 'Golden Oak' Stain
• Satin or Similar Fabric, and Pillow Stuffing
• Other - Nails, Glue, Staples, Sand Paper ...
